The Apollo collection is designed by the Stockholm-based creative collaborators Broberg & Ridderstråle.
The different designs of the Apollo family are created to be used either as solitaire or in combination, filling the needs of light in any given room. Johan Ridderstråle describes the joy in continuing developing the Apollo family:
” When we created Apollo, we directly had lots of ideas on how to explore the design even further. It feels great, and natural, to keep the family growing with each new addition. The main idea of Apollo, to stretch its material to the max while maintaining thin and thought through mounting, is still at the center.”
Choosing to develop ’Darkest Hour’ as the new color way was an easy choice (yet tricky excursion) for the designer duo. With its depth and shine, the character of Apollo both blends in and exaggerates, while sophisticatedly presenting its sharp edges and round body.
The new color ’Darkest Hour’ will be available in October 2024.
